Dismal Swamp Hike. 10-11 miles

I’m heading back into the swamp to Lake Drummond, but exploring a different route. This will be my first time on these trails.

This a gravel road with car traffic since there is a boat launch, parking & a deck at the lake. I don’t expect a lot of traffic & this shouldn’t be overgrown.

Parking lot is on the Railroad Ditch Rd. off of Desert Road in Suffolk.

20ish min/mile pace is what we average.
All trails considered relatively flat & easy/moderate.
Dogs must be leashed if bringing.
