Location Copenhagen - Service Modelling workshop - @CBB Mobile

The Meetup is a service modelling workshop, we will attempt to create a relevant set of microservices.

The idea is to have a starting point in a fictive existing company working with real physical products and having a web shop, where users can interact with the company.

The company wants to change towards a situation, where it is easier to add or remove areas of business and they believe that a service oriented way of looking at their business will provide value and enable them to succeed.

The approach is a workshop approach, where all participants are participating in finding a concrete set of services that the business needs.

The organizer will come with a story about the business and will suggest ways to discover e.g. contexts, resources, domains etc. ending in a set of services that supports the business going forward. The goal is to end up having an understanding of the services the business need to start implementing first and how to continue from that starting point.

It is an experiment trying to do this within a very short timeframe such as 3 hours without knowing exactly the previous knowledge of the participants. I hope you want to try this out working together with other interested members of the Meetup group to learn from one another and get insight into how to determine what services are needed for a given business.
