Hi, everyone!
Let's meet this Saturday to explore the High Park trails and fall colours together.

The plan is to walk along the park to see the Canadian fall colours, take fantastic pictures, visit the free High Park Zoo, grab a coffee, have exciting chats, and meet new friends.

What to bring?

• Wear clothes to keep yourself warm as we will be outside most of the time. 🧤🧣🧥
• Comfortable shoes 👟
• Wear suncream (it looks like a sunny day on Saturday ☀️💓)

I will bring some peanuts/nuts to feed the squirrels. The High Park ones are very friendly and so fluffy 💓💓

We will meet at High Park subway station. I will post a picture of the exact spot on that day.

This event is right for you if you want to make new friends in a fun and safe space.

Is this event for free?
The event fee is $5, which will go to support paying the monthly Meetup membership fee to keep the group going on the app. You can pay in cash on the day of the event or send your contribution to homeishere.canada@gmail.com 😉

Can I join after the time set?
Yessssss, we will be there for a while (if the weather allows it lol), so join whenever! Please, be aware that the internet connection sometimes fails. However, I will keep an eye on my phone to let you know where we are.

Can I invite more people to this event?
Everybody is welcome. We want this community to grow! Invite your immigrants and newcomer friends. YES, you can join if you are not an immigrant too.
