Fraud Education Scam Awareness and Prevention

Blacks in Technology Las Vegas Chapter, Vanderson Cyber Group, Norman & Associates Consulting, and Feathernest CoLearning Group are hosting their inaugural Fraud Prevention, Education, and Awareness Program. Using the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) strategic recommendations for keeping our communities safe from frauds and scams, our theme "Stay Safe Online: Learn How Hackers Try To Fool You" aims to inform, educate, and empower local residents in underserved communities to take action and protect their personal and financial information.

We will start with a Fraud Protection Kick-Off Event on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 5:00 pm at Feathernest Colearning Group 501 S Rancho Dr #D20 Las Vegas NV 89106. There will be food, music, and networking to enjoy. The kick-off event will also include a silent auction and door prizes.
