Our charity walk selection for the month of November is Father Joe's famous turkey trot! Walk or run the 5k in Balboa Park with us. Nancy and I usually walk about 3 miles per hour. You're welcome to walk with us or go at your own pace.
You must register on the organization's website in order to participate in this event. Join our team called "Happy Day" when you register.
If you forgot to make your pumpkin pie or just want an extra one, look for Father Joe's pie booth. You can pay for one before the race, then pick it up when you're done. Proceeds go to support their programs.

Welcome to the 21st Annual Thanksgiving Day 5K at Balboa Park!
San Diego’s original and longest-standing Thanksgiving Day “turkey trot” is back, and its critical mission remains the same: To provide crucial funds to feed the homeless through Father Joe’s Villages’ meal program.
During this season of giving and plenty, we invite you to give back to our community and make an impact on those who have less.
