East Columbus Maker Meetup (4th Monday)

Details
This month's meeting topic: Meshtastic & LoRaWAN
LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) is a standardized protocol for low-power, wide-area wireless communication. It’s designed for connecting battery-operated devices over long distances.
Meshtastic is not LoRaWAN; it builds on LoRa technology but creates decentralized mesh networks.
Additionally, we chat about projects the group members are working on, some show-and-tell, and seek assistance from other members. Any maker topics are fair game: Electronics [Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32,...], Laser Cutting/Engraving, 3D Printing, CNC, woodworking, metalworking, plasma cutters, textiles/fabrics, ...
Resuming the Monthly Meetup for makers. Find out how to make and meet with people interested in Making. All experience levels are welcome from just starting/interested to seasoned veterans. Share your makes & learn from others.
From Make: Magazine:
“What is a Maker?” The answers to this question are extremely varied and broad, as they should be, because there is no single definition of a “Maker”. That would exclude too many people. Humans are, by their very nature, Makers and the movement is one of celebration.
Adam Savage worded this in a very eloquent way:
> Humans do two things that make us unique from all other animals; we use tools and we tell stories. And when you make something, you’re doing both at once.
