2015 Oscar-Nominated Live Action Shorts and Animation Screenings

I really do enjoy the Oscars but my newest tradition is attending the screenings of the Live Action Shorts and Animated Oscar nominees beforehand at the Egyptian Theatre. I've seen some really great stuff in the last few years and now look forward to it. Come join me--I don't think you'll be disappointed. WE DON'T NEED TO HANG OUT TOGETHER BUT YOU MUST CONTACT ME SOMEHOW SO I DON'T MARK YOU AS A NO-SHOW.
First up are the Live Action nominated films at 7:00 followed by the 9:30PM nominees for the Animated category. Please let me know in the comments if you plan to attend one or both. That said, the Documentary nominees are Friday night but I'm volunteering early on Saturday morning and can't do it all unfortunately. I have heard they are equally good so if anyone attends, let me know how it went!
One of the nice things about doing these is that everyone is in town to see if they get a little gold statuette on Sunday so the filmmakers or stars are often in attendance for our event. A fun bonus.

Tickets:
The link to purchase through Fandango isn't up there yet. I will update this when I know that it's functional. I'm working with the Egyptian manager now. You can always purchase from their box office but I highly recommend prepurchase. You must purchase a ticket for BOTH of the events if you are attending them. In other words, the 9:30PM show has a separate ticket from the 7:00 show.

Parking:
It's a Saturday night the day before the Oscars 2 block away (think blocked off streets). Plan and park wisely grasshopper. If you stay for the Animated films you may get out too late for public transportation.
