Emigrant Trail to Oregon Trail and Snake River Overlooks

Join us Saturday on this historic 6.8-mile out-and-back trail near Hagerman, Idaho. It is generally considered a moderate route that winds through the Fossil Beds and is part of the Oregon Trail (original wagon ruts included).

We'll meet at the Oregon Trail Overlook parking lot at 9:00 am.
This spot is an hour and forty-five minutes from Boise, located in the
Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument. Carpooling is highly encouraged.
Temp. Is forecasted to be 66 degrees at 8 am and rises to the lower 90s around Noon. We will provide water to fill up bottles and pack and it is recommended to bring sunscreen or other forms of sun protection. Sun layers/clothing are also handy for this type of weather.

Note: Weather could be potentially in the mid to upper 90s and sunscreen and sun protection are highly encouraged, we will be updating any changes as we get closer to the planned date.
