Gitting started with git & GitHub - Hacktoberfest 2020 Meetup

We'll hold a git and GitHub virtual workshop partnered with JHLS

• No computer programming experience or knowledge required
• Should know how to use the keyboard and mouse to access the internet
• To code along a personal computer is highly recommended

What we'll learn?

• What is git, GitHub, and Hacktoberfest?
• Basic command line and git commands
• How to push your code
• How to make a pull request and what is it?
• Understanding the GitHub workflow
• Understanding the amazingness of open source

What to bring?

• A laptop, if you got one
