Peter maintains a fellowship at Cambridge Judge Business School, earned his PhD from Tilburg University and held a research fellowship at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. His research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, international finance, and law and economics.
He has been an external fixed-income consultant to the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank and, before entering academia, worked for the BBC World Service.

Tuan Trinh will address Blockchain technology, including cryptocurrencies. As cointelegraph.com states, a cryptocurrency is any kind of peer-to-peer digital money powered by the Blockchain technology. Since Bitcoin's appearance in 2009, hundreds of new cryptocurrencies (often called altcoins) have been created, all of which offer different advantages and disadvantages compared to Bitcoin. The Blockchain itself is based on the principles of cryptography, hence the name "cryptocurrencies."
Trinh earned his PhD in Computer Science from Budapest University of Technology and Economics and held visiting professorship positions at University of Bern (Switzerland ) and University of Luxembourg (Luxembourg). He is currently the program director of Corvinus Fintech management program, the organizer of Corvinus Lectures on Blockchain technology. He also serves as the IVSZ blockchain project co-leader within the IVSZ Fintech framework program. His recent interests include the “internet of things,” artificial intelligence, big data analytics and their applications in financial technology (FinTech). Trinh is also an MIT Certified Fintech professional, MIT Certified Cybersecurity professional, and a professional member of ACM and IEEE societies. His Erdős number is 3.
