YOU SHOW ME YOURS; I'LL SHOW YOU MINE! This is a FREE event where you can
showcase your work

Local film makers, video producers, documentarians, actors and other film and media professionals showcase their latest trailers, demo reels, music videos, short films, works in progress, and excerpts from their work and discuss them. A fun evening for those in the media and film business, with free food, drinks, networking and camaraderie. You're welcome to bring whatever you want to show. Just keep in under five minutes and make sure it's all-age friendly. You're even welcome to bring older stuff that you've worked on in the past and would like to show.

Want to know what your colleagues are working on? Want to see and learn what makes a dynamite demo reel or a trailer? Want to just hang out and shmooze? This is the place!

Have you got something you want to show? You can let us know or just bring it. What we're asking for is clips of 5 minutes or less -- it can be a trailer, a demo reel, a short film, or an excerpt from a longer project. MP4 files, preferably 4k, on a thumb drive are preferred, or a web site that we can connect to easily on the Internet. We may be able to accept other formats, as well. You'll also have a chance to discuss your reel for a few minutes. Or maybe you want to bring a log-line and try it out on our audience. Or a sample of your podcast. This is for you to showcase your work, talent, and skills.

The U. City Library has state-of-the art facilities for showcasing your work. Afterwards, we can all go to a local Loop watering hole to eat, drink, and hang out.

TIME & DATE: Tuesday, February 25, 2025, 6:00 PM to 8:45 PM. Note, we're starting a bit early for this meeting, to accommodate the library's hours. Networking will start at 6:00 PM, with the screenings to start at 6:30.

LOCATION: University City Public Library, main auditorium, 6701 Delmar, University City MO, 63130. The library is located on the western edge of the Loop. There's plenty of free parking in the parking lot behind the library.

COST: FREE (donations appreciated). After the meeting, we'll be going to one of U. City Loop's dining and drinking establishments for our Afterglow.
