AI 2.0: A DEEPER DIVE INTO AI ... PLUS OTHER HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE RECENT N.A.B. SHOW IN LAS VEGAS

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) in Las Vegas. It's a bellwether of all the new trends, technologies, and toys in the media industry. This year, Artificial Intelligence (AI) dominated much of the conference. Tariffs At this month's MCA meeting, we'll have a panel discussion on the latest developments in AI. If you went to NAB, please come and share your insights. If you have AI experience in AI, please come and share. If you're confused by it all -- and want to know more about it -- then you should DEFINITELY come! As usual, we have an all-star panel of industry experts:
CHRIS KUBAN: With over 30 years of experience in the communications field, Chris is passionate about effective communication and helping organizations with great passion. It's this passion that led him to establish Chemistry PR and Multimedia in 2009. Its focus is on assisting non-profits, charities, foundations, corporations, and even celebrities in communicating their message to the world.
DAVE RUTHERFORD has been a film and television camera and Steadicam operator since the 1990’s. He is known for his work on Good Morning America, Nightline, 20/20, and America Idol. Rutherford has a passion for factual storytelling with a visual flare. He has lensed network shows for over 20 years,. as well as on features, commercials, magazine shows, corporate theater, music videos, stunts. Dave was recognized for his work on Stephen King’s “Strawberry Spring” which won a Society of Cinematographers Guild Emerging Cinematographer award at the Cannes Film Festival.
GEORGE WISE is President and Director of Video Production at AO Creatives, a top-tier digital marketing agency. He will be demonstrating a camera that was featured at this year's NAB, the multi-award-winning PZ JVC 510 4K. The camera is known for its ability to track talent automatically, using the latest movement recognition and auto-tracking technology.
GLENN WOLK is the owner of Video Assistance Company, which specializes in Professional Full Remote Control Multi-Camera Live Switching,
Recordings, Live Streaming to the World Wide Web via IP Work-Flows - Houses of Worship, Corporations, E-Learning, E-Training, and Distance Learning Streams.

We'll be meeting at Barlow Productions, one of the longest-established video production and photography studios in St. Louis.

LOCATION: Barlow Productions, 1115 Olivette Executive Pkwy, Olivette, MO 63132.

DATE & TIME: Thursday, May 29, 2025; Networking begins at 6:30 PM; meeting at 7:00 PM. We'll wrap at 9:00, but some of us usually meet at a nearby watering hole for food and drinks.

COST: $10 (Donation), which helps to cover the cost of pizza, snacks, and refreshments.
