Details

It's a sight to see! Every year the Colorado State University in Fort Collins conducts the Annual Flower Trial Garden to evaluate the performance of different annual plant cultivars under our unique Rocky Mountain environmental conditions.

The garden is open daily to the public, free of charge during daylight hours. The garden has wide pathways with wood chip mulch or turf along the edges of the beds.

Meet the group on the corner of Lake and Remington Streets. Parking on the street as you turn right on Lake Street. The gardens will be on your left. We'll meet here, make introductions and walk the gardens together. We will also visit the perennial trials to the right, on the east side of Remington Street, in front of the Colorado State University Center for the Arts.

Directions to the Gardens...From I-25: take exit #268 and head west on Prospect Road for 3.8 miles to Remington Street. Turn right (north) on Remington Street and go one block to the intersection of Remington Street and Lake Street; the garden will be on your left. I plan on avoiding I-25 and will be driving north on US287 to the gardens.

The garden is located at 1401 Remington Street, Fort Collins, CO 80523.

Optional lunch after the gardens.

See you there!
