Kayaking on Dillon Reservoir

Another favorite place to kayak is Dillon Reservoir from the Frisco Bay Marina!

Bring your own kayak, PFD and other gear to enjoy the morning before it gets too windy for kayaking (~1pm). Also bring your binoculars for some great birding, if you're interested!

Park St the Frisco Bay Marina - Paid parking is in effect from 10am to 5pm. The first 30 minutes are free, but registration is required. After the first 30 minutes, the cost is $1.25 per half hour with a maximum of $12.00 Monday-Thursday.

Where to Meet the Group...Allow yourself extra time to use the facilities and meet the group by the boat launch by 9am. We'll begin paddling towards the first island.

Directions to the Frisco Marina... Drive I-70 West to exit 203 for Frisco/ Breckenridge. Follow the traffic circle to the 4th exit for CO9/I-70BL/N Summit Blvd. Follow signs for the Frisco Bay Marina.

Optional lunch after kayaking and before driving back to Denver area.
