Weather and Roads Permitting! Let's go! The International Snow Sculpture Championships are free to view! Teams from around the world descend on Breckenridge to hand-carve 20-ton blocks of snow into enormous, intricate works of art! Artists are only allowed to use hand tools, creativity and inspiration to bring their art to life!

Meet the group at 11am in front of the Breckenridge Welcome Center located at 203 S Main Street. Public restrooms available downstairs. It takes about an hour to admire and photograph the work of snow artists from around the world.

Carpooling: Form your own carpools and meet the group in front of the Breckenridge Welcome Center by 11am Monday. Allow yourself enough time to find parking, walk to the Welcome Center, use the facilities. We'll make introductions, take a group picture and attempt to walk through the sculptures as a group.

Directions to Breckenridge Welcome Center: I-70 West to Exit 203 for CO-9 South for Frisco/Breckenridge. Follow to Breckenridge Welcome Center located at 203 Main Street.

Dress for the Weather and Wear High Traction Boots/Microspikes: This is a high alpine environment so please come prepared. This is Colorado and the weather can change quickly. It could be warm and sunny or very cold, so dress in layers and bring extra warm clothes, gloves, hat and high traction boots/microspikes. Check the weather forecast for Breckenridge before you leave home!

Optional refreshment before heading back to Denver! Lots of choices for smaller groups.
