Hike Hicks Mountain Overlook Trail
Details
Another Denver Mountain Park located near Evergreen on Hwy 103. Let's hike the Hicks Mountain Overlook for ~5 miles and 700 feet of elevation gain. A nice shady trail with a steady climb up, mostly shaded forest, and historic remnants. As we ascend, the trail leads to a rocky summit, where following small trails with cairns reveals an amazing vista. From this quiet outcrop, we will have sweeping mountain views of Mount Blue Sky and other peaks.
