Pine Valley Ranch Exploratory Hike
Details
Can't wait to see the roaring North Fork of the South Platte running through Pine Valley Ranch! This is a Jeffco Open Space Park and they do have their group size limits on the trail! So we'll have two groups heading out in different directions, meeting in the middle and ending with an optional picnic.
Both routes will be 5+ miles with about 700 feet of elevation gain. It will take some cooperation and coordination for this to work. Pick either Route 1 (183916) following the Pine Lake Loop, Narrow Guage Trail, Buck Gulch Trail, Park View Trail, Strawberry Jack Trail, Fishing Trail ending at the Owl Picnic Trail OR Route 2 (183918) starting on the Narrow Guage Trail, Park View Trail, Strawberry Jack Trail, Buck Gulch Trail, North Fork View Trail, Fishing Trail, Shelter Trail to the Owls Picnic Trail. Load routes to your GPS before you leave home and before you arrive at the trail. Not sure what connection we'll have at Pine Valley Ranch. Route 1...
