Let's hike to Ouzel Falls via the Wild Basin! This is part of Rocky Mountain National Park and we can enter before 9am without a reservation. Plan to arrive and park before 9am to bypass securing a timed entry. The road is open all the way to the Trailhead so keep driving past the Ranger Station booth.

Ouzel Falls via Wild Basin Trail is considered a moderate hike that covers 5.4 mi, with an elevation gain of 987 ft. We plan to hike as close to the waterfall as possible. Could be muddy and there could be lingering patches of snow and ice. Bring your spikes just in case! Bring lunch to eat on the trail!
