HOODS ON HORTON Classic Car Show

EVENT: Hoods On Horton. Calling all car enthusiasts to the Horton Legion Classic Car Show. Over 300 vehicles are expected to be in the show. The front and back lots of the Horton Road Legion will be full for this annual show and shine. The Hoods on Horton Car Show 'n Shine Fundraiser is in support of the Legion and Veterans Association Food Bank.. It’s an eye-catching display of hot rods, classics, custom builds, antiques and more! The Legion is welcoming vehicles of all makes and models to participate at $20 per car. Entertainment is provided by Brian McCullough & Friends. The bar and restaurant is open for our drinking and dining pleasure. They request that everyone wears red to acknowledge all those who are deployed. Also bring a non- perishable food item which will give you a vote for the best “pride in your ride” entry.
WHEN: Sunday, August 13, 2023 all day. We will meet at 12 noon for a couple of hours of viewing, wandering and socializing. Then we will go inside the Legion pub and quench our thirst.
COST/PAYMENT: Car Show attendance is free. There is a $2.00 Meet-up charge unless you are a yearly member of the Meet-up. The cost to enroll your classic car is $20.00 for a good cause.

RESERVATION/HOW TO FIND US: We will meet at the front doors of the Legion at 12 noon and tour the site as a group. Lots of eye candy to view!
AGE RANGE: Suitable for all ages and dogs on leashes.
DRESS CODE: Dress comfortably with clothes and shoes. Wear red to honor deployed armed forces. The event is outdoors; dress for weather conditions of the day. You may want to wear sun protection.
PARKING/TRANSPORTATION: It may be hard to find parking close by. Be prepared to park further away from the Legion.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: You will be walking around and standing through the day. Bring water. Some may want to purchase drinks and/or food from the Legion after the strolling and admiring.
CONDITIONS: If you feel sick, do not attempt to participate ... please stay home. Keep your RSVP current. Be respectful to those on the wait list who are looking for a spot. No-Shows and short cancellations will be recorded.
