Free pop up tasting of Billecart-Salmon at OWC

Join us this Thursday, July 31st from 5–7 PM for the Summer Champagne Event of the Season! We’re opening four stunning expressions from Champagne Billecart-Salmon — including the legendary 2008 Billecart-Salmon “Cuvée Louis” Blanc de Blancs, a vintage that many consider the greatest Champagne harvest of the century.

In the sea of Grandes Marques, Billecart-Salmon stands apart. Not just for its legacy — over 200 years of family ownership — but for its precision. For its patience. For quietly making some of the most elegant, age-worthy Champagnes in the region.

Founded in 1818 in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Billecart has remained under the stewardship of the same family for seven generations — a rare feat in a region now dominated by corporate portfolios. The house still ferments at unusually low temperatures in an effort to preserve freshness and finesse. It was one of the first to produce quality, age-worthy rosé Champagne, firmly placing them amongst the top Champagne houses.
