Third Sunday before Lent: Cantatas 84, 92, and 144

Join us to explore three Leipzig cantatas, including one of Bach's only four extant sacred works for soprano solo. We'll also enjoy a cantata in which a well-known chorale melody is treated with dazzling variety by Bach in no fewer than 5 movements, and in which we encounter not one but two turbulent virtuoso arias as well as, by contrast, a lovely tender aria for soprano, oboe, and pizzicato strings.
