4th Sunday after Epiphany and Purification of Mary: Cantatas 14, 81, and 82

With this meeting, we will start wrapping up our discovery of all surviving cantatas that fall between New Year and Easter. These are not second-rate leftovers, however–-they include one of Bach’s most beloved solo cantatas (#82), a marvel of complex contrapuntal writing (#14), and a very dramatic Leipzig work (#81).
