About us
Bachata Hearts: Stories and Rhythms is a space for people who love bachata to come together and talk about what draws us to this music. Whether you've been dancing to bachata for years or you just discovered it recently, this group is for anyone interested in the stories, history, and feeling behind the music. We'll discuss everything from classic artists to contemporary bachata, the evolution of the dance, and what these songs mean to us personally.
This isn't a dance class or a performance group—it's just a casual gathering where we can share our appreciation for bachata and connect with other people who get it. Maybe you want to talk about your favorite artists, or you're curious about the Dominican roots of the music, or you just love analyzing the lyrics and what they're really about. All of that belongs here. We'll meet regularly to listen together, share recommendations, and have real conversations about this music we care about.
If you're someone who feels something when you hear bachata, or you're interested in understanding the culture and artistry behind it, we'd love to have you join us. No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and your ears.
