We’ll hear from Niko Kovačič, Senior Lead Engineer at Bird Buddy, and Matija Vižintin, DevOps Guild Lead at Teads, as they dive into two interesting backend topics:

• Building for Impact: Product Engineering in the Backend by Niko Kovačič

• Exploring technologies and concepts that empower product-focused engineers to quickly and effectively ship scalable systems.

• Ceph: Make Storage Great Again by Matija Vižintin

• An overview of Ceph, a scalable distributed storage system, covering its architecture, storage types, key components, and the CRUSH algorithm for efficient data distribution.
