- Paradise Lake is gorgeous. l hike this as often as possible. It has beautiful views and wildflowers.
- We will backpack in on July 5th hiking the PCT to Castle Pass. Then, we will climb the trail to Castle Peak and Basin and go back on the PCT to camp at Paradise Lake that night. All Trails shows it in one day, but we will do it in 2 days; therefore, it is 8 miles the first day with 2,500' elevation gain since we are doing the peaks, as well. - On July 6th, we will just enjoy beautiful Paradise Lake, hike in the area, and relax.

- You should to be in excellent shape and able to do elevation gain with a backpack. Keep your backpack light!
- It will be a slow, "picture taking" pace. You must agree to go slow and stay with the group.
