About us
The Backspin Society is a casual collective for anyone who loves breakdancing, whether you are just starting out or have been hitting the floor for years. We wanted to create a relaxed space where dancers can get together to share moves, work on their craft, and build a supportive community. It is less about formal lessons and more about getting people in the same room to practice and trade ideas in an informal setting.
We get together regularly to keep the local scene connected and active. You are welcome to bring a track you have been working on, ask for advice on a specific power move, or just jump into a cypher. Our goal is to keep the energy positive and focused on the culture and history of breaking. If you have been looking for a crew to practice with, come through and join us for a session.
