Via Transilvanica – The path that unites

Via Transilvanica (VT) is a 1,400km long-distance trail in Rumania. It was initiated in 2018 and can ben done hiking, horse-riding or cycling. The trail is divided into seven regions marked by their cultural and historical uniqueness.

In this talk, Samantha will share her personal experience walking through Terra Saxonum in June/July 2025.

Samantha, a German expatriate, has called the vibrant city of Barcelona home for the past seven years. In her professional life, Samantha excels as a dynamic people manager in the e-commerce sector, where she leads a diverse team of 30 employees.

As a dedicated explorer of her adopted city, Samantha has earned recognition as a Google Local Guide Level 8 reviewing cultural and culinary highlights. Her portfolio of over 700 detailed reviews, including 400 focused on Barcelona, reflects her deep understanding of the city.
Most recently, Samantha developed a keen interest in hiking the region's scenic trails in preparation of her VT journey.
