Join us as we close out 2025 with stories, conversation, and the community that makes Backstory what it is. This end-of-year gathering is relaxed and come-as-you-are — a chance to look back on the books that stayed with us and the reading moments that shaped the year.

Throughout the evening, we’ll share a series of light, reflective prompts to get conversations going. There’s no preparation needed — just curiosity, honesty, and a love of talking about books with other readers.

As you arrive, you’ll have the chance to leave recommendations for the books you loved most this year, adding your voice to the shelves and helping other readers discover something new. From there, we’ll gather, mingle, respond to prompts together, and let conversations unfold naturally in a standing, social format.

We’ll have complimentary wine for anyone who’d like a glass.
