What we’re about
"I haven't played that since middle school" is probably said most often with the sports Backyard Sports Club provides to the Hampton Roads area. Meet new friend and singles in the area playing we used to play as kids and have a drink at the sponsored bar after a game. This league is built on being social and fun with a new twist to the old past time sport of picnic outings and elementary school field day. Outside of league play, Backyard Sports Club organizes charity tournaments, Bowling, Night, Race Night, and other events. Join the league, join the fun!
This spring season Backyard Sports Club will be having the following sports:

• Cornhole - Tuesday Nights in Virginia Beach
• Sand Wiffleball - Sunday Afternoons in Virginia Beach
• Softball - Sunday Afternoons in Norfolk
• Softball - Tuesday Nights in Norfolk

Perhaps your friends play Pickleball. Maybe you’re a tennis or racquetball player looking for a new challenge. If you have a fun-loving attitude and an ounce of athletic ability, then Pickleball is the sport you need to start playing.
In the INTRO TO PICKLEBALL 90-minute Beginner Clinic, you’ll learn how to effectively hit the ball, maintain a rally, keep score, the rules and basic game play. At the end of this clinic, players will have the foundational knowledge and skills to start playing Pickleball. Equipment is provided.
