The Plan
Day 1
Meet at Stanley Park Lot 62 or on the way with carpool driver. Will head out at 9am, getting grocery on the way (1hr) and should arrive to campsite around 12:30pm. Upon arrival will have a quick lunch and then walk around the lake. Around mid afternoon, will head back to campsite, setup camp and prepare evening dinner around a cozy camp fire. After dinner, we'll enjoy the starry night sky reflection on the lake far from light pollution. Will get an early night sleep and try to catch the sunset.

Day 2
After breakfast, we will go for a hike nearby to explore the area. Most snow should be gone around the lake by this time of the year but up in the mountains could still have a fair amount of snow. We'll go as far as we can and then head back to camp to enjoy more delicious food around the camp fire.

Day 3
Will keep this day unplan for now as it's often you'll find something magical that you didn't know about until arriving at the location so let's wait and see. Most likely we will pack up most gear in the morning but keep some out until we're ready to head out. The latest we will stay will be around 4 - 5pm as it will be about 2 hr drive back to the city.

Dinning out
Will stop by a supermarket for grocery on the way over and will share the bill. You can bring food from home as well if you prefer to eat separately.

Transportation
Carpooling round trip fee will be between 20 - 60 / person. Amount will depend on number of passenger in car and gas rate on that day. Details will be discuss in the WhatsApp group chat.

Essential camping gear for the group will be provided but you will need to bring your own hiking gear and sleeping gear or get rentals listed below.

What to rent on this trip?
The most basic option would be about 20 - 60 / night.

1. Share a XL tent with other group member.
2. One thick yoga mat as a comfortable camping mattress.
3. -20C sleeping bag or bring a warm duvet from home.
4. Gaiters & crampons might be necessary due to snow / ice in the mountains.

Rental gears
Fee is price for the whole day (9am today - 12pm next day) unless otherwise specified. 5% discount for each additional rental night, up to maximum 50%. Meaning, 2 night 10% off, 7 nights 35% off, 10 nights 50% off the total rental amount.

General notice
Wear comfortable outdoor shoes and clothing suitable for the weather condition. Friendly dogs & kids are welcome to join with a supervised adult. If the event is more than 3hrs, you might want to consider bring some food and drink. If you wish to leave early, you may do so at anytime. There is a possibility this event could be rescheduled to the following week due to any unexpected situation / weather condition. However, the odds are low.
