This is the group for movies so bad they're good.

The weird, the bizarre, the horrible acting, the ridiculous concepts, the non-work-safe hilarity. Most people are just uncomfortable watching them, but for whatever reason they tickle the suitably twisted sense of humor.

Would you watch a movie called Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter, because a movie with that title must be awesome? Does your list of cinematic classics include things like Barbarella, Zardoz, and RoboGeisha?

Does a one star Netflix rating intrigue you? Well, if you're 21+ years old and have read and agree to the terms of our Release of Liability statement, then sign up, because this group is for getting together at someone's place and watching movies like that, and many others that are much more obscure.

This movie was so successful (compared to its low low budget) that it spawned three sequels from 2010-2015. It's got cheesy acting, cheap CGI, low budget sets, and giant monsters duking it out. Defend the Earth!

War of the Worlds
(2025 - unrated - 1h 29min)
This movie has been mentioned in some pretty major media outlets as the most infamously bad movie in a long time. It was made during the pandemic, with everyone in isolation, so the alien invasion is basically a zoom call. If it was so bad they didn't release it back when everyone had nothing to do but sit inside watching stuff, I'm not sure why they released it now, but I guess we'll see.

My apartment complex has a sign saying "Encasa". Go straight ahead until you see the leasing office, then CALL OR TEXT ME to be let into my building. I will email my CELL NUMBER to everyone who has RSVPd, on the day of the event.

PARKING can be an issue. First, try the parking garage in my apartment complex (turn left after you enter the complex). There are usually a few guest spots right inside the entrance. There are also various outdoor spots labeled "Guest". Second, try the small shopping plaza at 1160 N Fair Oaks, which is about a 10-15 minute walk north of my apartment. The walk may be easier than finding street parking.
