Who's ready to celebrate the annual "Mean Girls Day" holiday in the arguably worst way possible?

If so, then I present to you Mean Girls 2, not to be confused with the 2024 musical remake of the classic teen comedy Mean Girls. This is a 2011 direct-to-TV-then-to-DVD sequel that originally aired on ABC Family (now Freeform), with only Tim Meadows reprising his role from the original movie.

Let us return to North Shore High School, now in Ohio instead of Illinois, and once again explore the impact of social cliques and bullying on teenagers.

Is there a reason this movie didn't become the pop culture phenomenon that is the 2004 original? Could there be some hidden gems of memes and catchphrases? Does this movie at least try to make "fetch" happen? We shall see!
