Some may say that lowbrow, pop culture obsessed, parody movies, despite their usually negative critical reception, experienced their peak popularity in the 90s and 00s, and we have two of these type of movies whose relative commercial failure may prove that point.

2010's Vampires Suck and 2012's Breaking Wind poked fun at the phenomenon that was the Twilight saga, and these parodies were critically panned upon release.

The Twilight films have recently received some more positive reevaluations from fans and critics. Is it time to do the same for their parodies?
