*THIS IS NOT A WATCH PARTY*
Manos: The Hands of Fate is a 1966 independent, low-budget horror film that was only screened in a select number of theaters in the American Southwest.
Instead of remaining in relative obscurity, this movie's existence was made well-known by Mystery Science Theater 3000 in one of their episodes in 1983, and from there, this result of a bet between an insurance and fertilizer salesman and the writer In the Heat of the Night has remained relevant among fans of cult classics.
Why don't we also keep the legacy of this film going by talking about it?
