After Earth (IN-PERSON DISCUSSION GROUP)

Raleigh/Triangle-area folks, it's time to have an in-person movie chat once again, and why don't we kick off our 2026 series with the M. Night Shyamalan/Will Smith science-fiction, After Earth?

Despite its poor critical and commerical reception, does this movie provide any useful insight into parent-child relationships in the midst of environmental peril? Let's discuss!

I'll try to secure us a table on the top floor outside at Boxyard RTP, but if the weather doesn't look too good, I may move the disucssion to a nearby coffee shop. Also, we'll set aside the first 20 minutes or so for folks to order food/drinks before we get to the disucssion.
