Joan Crawford was an Academy Award winning actress whose career peaked in Hollywood's Golden Age; however, she might be better known in this group as the subject of the 1981 film Mommie Dearest, the film adaptation of its namesake autobiography by her daughter.

This psychological drama recieved (un)ironic praise and criticism for its screenplay, its unintentionally comedic tone, and lead actress Faye Dunaway's performance as Crawford, and it remains well-known as a cult classic today.

This may be a hard watch for some folks, so no worries if you aren't able to finish it.
