When the heat gets to us in the morning, we go in the night for nothing stops us from our great escape (https://www.meetup.com/PlanYourGreatEscape) :)

This time we go for a road trip to the nearby Ananthagiri forest, one of the densest forest in the Ranga Reddy region and camp the night there. One of the exciting part of this trip would be the night trek, the test of our courage in exploring a forest in the dark! In the morning we will go to the Kotepally reservoir for bird watching.

BIKE/CAR RIDING INSTRUCTIONS

No riding/driving without license

Both rider and pillion should wear a helmet

Always wear your seat belt

No overtaking, sharp turns and rash driving.

Standard speed will be maintained by a leader while riding.

If these rules are not followed, we may have to ask you to go back.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Saturday, 1st April 2017

We assemble at the Gachibowli ORR at the designated time given and start our trip to Ananthagiri. After acquiring the necessary permits, we will head off to the forest in search of a camping ground and make preparations for a campfire. The night calls for a trek and some star gazing session. Post that we can relax in the night, listening to the sounds of the forest.

Things taken care of:
Barbecue dinner. There will be separate items for both vegetarians and non vegetarians.

Day 2: Sunday, 2nd April 2017

We wake up in the morning and clear the campsite ( Remember no littering is allowed) and head off to the Kotepally Reservoir for bird watching. Post that, we will have breakfast and head back to Hyderabad.
