New & Improved NCBC Website

NC Badminton Club has a new website!

NCBC volunteer Roy Legaard has redesigned the site from the ground up, so in addition to the new visual style, it should also be easy to find the up-to-date information. Here are the highlights so far:

- Homepage: easy-to-find info on play locations and schedules, as well as banners for important announcements and events

- Events page: All NCBC & regional tournaments will be listed here

- Video: NCBC now has a YouTube channel, where we'll be uploading matches from local events. We already have several matches from the NC Open finals available for viewing.

- Community page: At the moment, this page has links to our mailing list and various social media outlets. Over time, this section will include information about things like training opportunities and any other initiatives or programs that get started. We want to get pretty creative with this space so let us know what else you'd like to see here!
--You can find all the vendor lists, including our one and only local vendor.

- News blog: All NCBC news now in one place. Visit early and often, or subscribe via RSS!
- New NCBC mailing list – subscribe and stay informed with up to date information.

More features and a mobile version of the site are also on the way, so stay tuned!

Since Roy and Marx will primarily be in charge of updating the site, any schedule changes for our locations should be forwarded to them… that way we can get the word out as quickly as possible. If you see anything that needs fixing, or if you just have some feedback or suggestions for the site, let us know [address removed].

Finally, as a side note, Roy is currently in the job market, so if you or someone you know would like similar web/graphic design services, let him know!
