Badminton Friends

Come and join us for doubles badminton at the sports hall at Chestnut Grove Academy in Balham.

Only 1 minute walk from Balham tube and overground stations.

Our Saturday sessions are aimed at lower intermediate players and above, we play for 2 hours (with 5 mins of setup) on 3 courts, using Yonex AS40 feather shuttlecocks.

Come along to have fun, improve your game, make new friends, and keep fit.

Please bring drinking water with you to stay hydrated, and bring your own rackets.

You are responsible for your own health and wellbeing, and is recommend you warm up and stretch at the start and end of the session. The club nor the academy will be liable for any injury or loss to personal possessions at any time.

Please note: We're currently unable to accept beginners.
Due to member feedback and the fact that we only run one session per week (on Saturdays), we need to prioritise players with some experience (lower intermediate and above) in order to keep games flowing and enjoyable for everyone. We appreciate your understanding, and if we're able to add more sessions in the future, we hope to welcome beginners then - will keep you posted.
