About us
Badminton Friends is a casual but organised group for people who enjoy playing friendly doubles in a social atmosphere and share a passion for badminton. We welcome players who value good sportsmanship and a fun environment.
Badminton Friends isn’t just about playing — we quite often have pub socials after sessions (optional of course) and plan occasional community events like meals, cinema trips, and more.
We currently run a weekly Saturday session:
- Saturday 2-Hour Session (12–2pm) for £9 – welcoming improvers-intermediate+. We play on three courts with plastic shuttles and rotate games to keep things fun and varied. We do our best to match players of similar ability, while also balancing games so everyone can improve and enjoy a good challenge.
