About us
This is official page for Badminton in Vienna (intermediate-level or higher) group on meet-up.
Unlike other badminton groups, weβre specifically for players with intermediate or higher badminton skills πΈ
We have regular meetings every Thursday (18-20h) at Sports & Fun Hall Leopoldstadt (Feather shuttlecock/2h/9 Euro)
And every Sunday (11-13h) at Tennis Point Wien 3 (Mavis 2000 shuttlecock/2h/7 Euro )
Our definition of intermediate-level: someone who's familiar with the rules of the game and mastered the basic techniques to a good level to play a match
(you don't need to be professional player π)
Our playing style: Mostly playing in double.
Our goal: To exercise and have fun together, and to have the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends at the same time.
The shuttles we use:
Thursday event : Feather shuttlecock
Sunday event : Mavis 2000/Yonex/ Yellow color
The shuttles are included in the event fee.
Once we have more organizers in this group, they might choose to use a different kind of shuttles, but of course you will see this in the event description.
Our cancellation policy:
Thursday event:
1- canceling 24-hour before the event = free cancellation
2- cancellation after the 24-hour deadline = we will ask you kindly to pay the event fee if we were not able to find a suitable replacement. (No exception)
Sunday event:
1- canceling 48-hour before the event = free cancellation
2- cancellation after the 48-hour deadline = we will ask you kindly to pay the event fee if we were not able to find a suitable replacement. (No exception)
In case of not paying = banned from future events.
