What we’re about
We are a team for ladies, mens and mixed doubles to compete in North London & North East London area badminton leagues. (Enfield League and North East London League etc.)
Good tactical knowledge of level doubles badminton and mixed doubles badminton is required to join. If you think you are eligible and willing to practice with us, come in for a trial. :)
We only welcome nice and reliable persons. Level of play is important, but even the world number one won't be welcomed if the person isn't nice! :P
== Extra info before you request to join ==
We have a minimum level requirement and it is above social intermediates. If you have never played league matches before, it may not be for you. In this case, I would recommend getting coaching (or practices for competitive doubles) before coming to our trials.
Our home match will be played on Sundays in Enfield, and away matches extend from Enfield to Walthamstow and Stratford area. If you are not available on Sundays or cannot travel to North London and North East London, it won't work.
Trials will be on one Sunday at Britannia LC, Finsbury LC or Sobell LC. Our bimonthly practice sessions will be Friday nights at Finsbury LC. Currently, we're limiting attendee's number to only 6 per night on court, so we're going to have to meet with trial members on a day/night other than Friday.
