Seaford to Eastbourne via the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head - Linear - 14 miles

Details

A linear walk from Seaford (Library) to Eastbourne via the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head. We'll stop for a picnic lunch at Birling Gap. Finishing at Eastbourne pier. Plenty of buses back to the start or Brighton.

Please bring plenty of water. There are also options to leave the walk early en-route at Cuckmere Haven, Birling Gap or Beachy Head - please tell the walk leader if you decide to do this!

From Brighton, catch the #13X bus from the Sealife centre at 09:30 (or Brighton Station at 09:20). Arrives at Seaford Library stop at 10.17.

Please note this is a more strenuous walk than our usual selections of walks.

***

The Brighton and Hove Group of The Ramblers and its leaders accept no responsibility for any claims arising from the activities of the group. All walk leaders must be fully paid-up members of the Ramblers Association.

All sporting and leisure activities have inherent hazards associated with them and rambling is no exception. In spite of the safety of members being the paramount concern, accidents will occasionally occur. It is important, therefore, that when entering into the activity, each member appreciates that they have a responsibility to identify the hazards and take all reasonable steps to eliminate or minimise the potential for an accident to arise.
