Hollingbury Stanmer circular 6.8 miles - note starting time 9.30am
Details
🌦 Attempting to Dodge the Weather! 🌦
Join us for an undulating local walk starting at Woodbourne Garage on Cuckmere Way, just off Ditchling Road. We’ll head through woodland and fields to Old Boat Corner, into Stanmer Woods (hopefully drier under the trees!), then on to High Park Corner and down to Stanmer Village for a tea stop ☕ (around 4.5 miles in).
Afterwards, we’ll loop back through the woods to finish where we started — aiming to be done by around 1pm. Hopefully we’ll miss the worst of the rain, which is currently due later in the afternoon 🤞It is likely to be wet though!

All sporting and leisure activities have inherent hazards associated with them and rambling is no exception. In spite of the safety of members being the paramount concern, accidents will occasionally occur. It is important, therefore, that when entering into the activity, each member appreciates that they have a responsibility to identify the hazards and take all reasonable steps to eliminate or minimise the potential for an accident to arise.
