Ditchling to Wivelsfield circular 10 am start
Details
This is a moderately flat circular 10 mile walk from Ditchling to Wivelsfield taking in Ditchling Common, farmland and autumn woodland trails. Although the walk is substantially flat, there are many stiles and areas of uneven ground. If it has been raining and there is mud, the walk will be quite strenuous. The starting point is the Village Hall carpark in Ditchling (free parking). We will pass through farmland so, although dogs are welcome, they will need to be on a lead in the farmland. We will have a picnic lunch at Wivelsfield Green Recreation Ground, where there is a public toilet. There is the option of a drink at The Bull in Ditchling at the end of the walk. Cars will be required so please car share. Note that the clocks go back today,

The Brighton and Hove Group of The Ramblers and its leaders accept no responsibility for any claims arising from the activities of the group. All walk leaders must be fully paid-up members of the Ramblers Association.
All sporting and leisure activities have inherent hazards associated with them and rambling is no exception. In spite of the safety of members being the paramount concern, accidents will occasionally occur. It is important, therefore, that when entering into the activity, each member appreciates that they have a responsibility to identify the hazards and take all reasonable steps to eliminate or minimise the potential for an accident to arise.
