Cumbia music is a fun, upbeat Latin rhythm with a steady, bouncing beat that makes you want to smile and move right away. It combines drums, accordion, and percussion to create a playful, easy-to-follow groove that feels both festive and social. The rhythm is simple but full of life, making it perfect for beginners and great for dancing with friends.
Our group dance lessons are designed to be fun, welcoming, and easy to follow for everyone — whether it’s your very first class or you already have dance experience. Each class begins with a step-by-step lesson where we break down the fundamentals of the dance in a simple and supportive way. We focus on learning the rhythm, basic footwork, partner connection, and real social dancing techniques so you can feel confident on the dance floor.
No partner is needed — we rotate partners throughout class so everyone gets a chance to practice, meet new people, and improve faster in a relaxed environment. Our classes are all about building confidence, having fun, and creating community while learning Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, and other Latin dances.
