Parameters and Custom Functions in Power Query in Excel

In this session, we will look at simple case scenarios where using parameters and custom functions in Power Query in Excel can have a tremendously positive impact on a solution by making it dynamic, easier to maintain and generating the results needed with less effort.
We will see:

• how we can pass a value in an Excel cell into a query,
• situations where there’s a need to create a custom function in Power
  Query,
• how to transform a query into a custom function, and
• how to call that function in another query.
