About us
Welcome to The Shared Table Network—a professional community for people across Banyule, Nillumbik, and surrounding areas who are looking for career networking that feels more human.
This network is a relaxed, non-sales-based space focused on real conversations about work, career ideas, challenges, and lived experience.
There are no pitches, no pressure, and no performance expectations.
Whether you are employed, self-employed, between roles, building something new, or simply looking for a more meaningful local career connection, you are welcome here. The network is completely open to any industry, role, background, or stage of your professional journey.
The intention of this group is simple: slow down, connect, and have honest conversations that support learning, reflection, and community.
As a career and wellbeing practitioner hosting this space, my goal is to facilitate a supportive environment where we can talk openly about modern work. While our community is open to absolutely anyone looking to connect, my background allows me to warmly support those navigating unique career chapters—such as professionals looking to manage workplace stress, restore their work-life balance, or find an inclusive, judgment-free space to talk about career development and professional growth.
What We Do
The Shared Table Network hosts a variety of events designed to support your professional journey in a balanced, sustainable way:
- The Round Table Gatherings: Casual, lightly guided morning catch-ups held once every two months. These sessions are light on structure and high on genuine connection, giving everyone an equal space to share successes, navigate challenges, and connect without the pressure of traditional networking.
- Employment Support Sessions: Upcoming, targeted events focusing on practical career development, navigating job transitions, and building professional confidence in an inclusive environment.
(Please note: This network is hosted by a career and wellbeing practitioner who is passionate about connecting professionals across the health, wellbeing, and broader business sectors. However, our meetups are purely peer-led social connections and operate as entirely non-medical and non-therapeutic spaces.)
If you are ready to have honest conversations that support learning, reflection, and community, join the network. We look forward to welcoming you to the table!
