This is a good news/bad news kind of thing.
The good news is that this group has nearly 3000 members; the bad news is that the fees charged by meetup.com cannot be justified for the level of attendance we see from those same members.
The club originally created the page to make it easier for people searching for ballroom dancing to find our classes. That idea worked for some time when meetup.com fees were kept low. Since then the costs have increased to an unsustainable level.
Since the page is tightly associated with the ballroom club there is no sense in finding another organizer - the club is the organizer, Balboa Park Dancers is a social club that existed long before we created the meetup group.

There you will find general information and a calendar page. We conduct classes most Friday and Sunday evenings every week, doors open at 6:45pm.
Balboa Park Dancers is a great place to learn ballroom dancing: two classes with open dancing before and after class.
