Thank you for your interest in Ballantyne Wine and Dine.
John and I moved to the Charlotte area in March of 2022. We would like to make friends and meet other couples that enjoy dining out, wine and cocktails, and attending events/outings in the North Charlotte area.
This group is for 55+ Empty Nester (Couples only) with either grown children or childless. We are childless, but do have a little senior pup named Stuart and a 3 year old pup named Winnie. So we count them as our kids :)
We are looking for good conversation, enjoying meals and outings together, meeting nice couples that have similar interests and have the desire to form meaningful friendships.

Recent personal photo on profile- REQUIRED. Your face must be displayed on the profile photo
New members will not be accepted unless we can see who you are. This avoids future issues. This group is for couples only who are 55+ in age.
Event RSVP's - We have been very lucky to find restaurants that welcome our large group on a Saturday nights and we always want to be respectful of the efforts they put forth to accommodate us. Many of these establishments bring on extra staff and make special seating arrangements for us. Hosting a group of 24-28 people is no small feat for many restaurants.
When you RSVP to attend an event please make certain you can attend, if find you will not be able to attend, we ask that you give us a 72 hour notice.
Life happens and we certainly understand about last minute emergencies, but each establishment counts on a minimum number of guests and we need to give them an accurate count by Wednesday the week of the event.
We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding so that we will continue to be welcome in these dining establishments.
There is a membership fee of $25 per year per couple (not per person). This fee helps cover the cost of the MeetUp website use, incidentals and any deposits.
